Nike RZN Tour Platinum
By: John C on 30 July 2017In my opinion, it's definitely a ball for harder hitters who also have the ability to shape their shots. But the feel of the 2016 Platinum on the irons and around the green is what got me. Will definitely have to make some adjustment on the approach shots to the green because it does go longer, and spins more. I no longer believe Titleist ProV1 is the best. I believe that today its reputation is far greater than the actual product. Not that I'm bashing Titleist ProV1, they are great. I've used Titleist balls since the Balata days and the ProV1 balls since their first release. It's just that the ProV1 balls for pretty much a decade had no competition. It's no longer that King Kong anymore, and other companies are not only stepping up, but challenging Titleist for its throne. It was only 3 years ago where I tried to open my mind to try other balls, and I gotta say, the Platinum impressed me just like how I was impressed with the TPx the first time I tried it.
