MainFrame is a series of grooves, channels, and cavities milled into the backside of ZX5 and ZX Utility. Developed after two years of machine learning within our automated design software, this pattern increases face flex for more ball speed on every shot. It means you can swing hard, go for the long shot, and play like you’re a club closer to every green. Because with MainFrame, you are.

Milled into the backside of each ZX5 face, MainFrame is a variable thickness pattern made up of grooves, channels, and cavities. This pattern maximizes COR for more ball speed and incredible distance on every shot.

 

TOUR V.T. SOLE
The unique Tour V.T. Sole gives Srixon irons a leg up against the competition with smoother turf interaction and improved impact feel. The V-shaped sole glides smoothly through turf, even if you strike slightly behind the ball.

ZX5 Irons also feature the resurgence of our popular sole notches. Revered by our tour staff, these heel and toe notches enhance workability without sacrificing forgiveness.

 

MULTI-PIECE CONSTRUCTION
Premium, high-density tungsten in ZX5’s long and mid irons maximizes heel-toe MOI. That added stability is invaluable on off-center shots because it helps keep spin and speed consistent.

A forged SUP10 face is strong and light, increasing face-flex at impact for enhanced speed and distance. And a forged 1020 Carbon Steel body absorbs vibrations for softer feel.
